I live in Australia. I ordered a Choc mousse birthday cake for my daughter in NY. It was delivered promptly but she wasn't home. Instead of leaving a slip telling her to pick it up from the nearest Post Office, it was returned to the depot. When she hadn't received it after another 5 days I contacted the shop. No reply. I sent another message, giving a friend's work address, and asking for an approx delivery date. No reply. I wrote again after another four days or so, asking if they'd received my messages. Finally got a reply (with an apology). Yes, the cake had been delivered two days ago. She finally got the cake, but I don't know how fresh it was.
